get it together

Last night was fun.

We had a little get together with dinner and drinks. Since we we're only Swedish and Danish people at the beginning we made the rule with no English talking. It went pretty good. Then other people came and yeah.. english was allowed again.

We went to this local pub where there was a guy doing a Rod Stuart tribute. It was sooo funny.

Well, woke up today and thought I would have a slight hangover from my red wine last night, but I felt fine. Been cleaning and sorting things out.

Time for some gym, and then meet up with Steve. Then we have another little get together. Last day before school starts....

back to black

Wow... I haven't really been writing anything here in a while. It feels like I've been here a while, but it has only been three days now.

My new home is really nice and my friends has been so welcoming and sweet. Yesterday all three of us went out for a run, haha, must look funny when three blond girls come running down the streets.  Survived ans today my calfs are not too happy.

Today was the first day back in school, or well, we had our introduction today. But it really drained me from all my energy since I haven't really been socialising this much all summer.

I went to the gym before school and then I didn't eat properly after. Ten now when I came home I was gonna cook a nice mince, but realized that I had bought LAMB instead. I cooked it anyways and I tried to eat it but it just had to go in the bin. Now I can't be asked to go and buy anything else, so that's that... Not very good...

I'm really excited to go back to class on Monday. I only have classes two days a week, but the amount of projects that has to be done this year is crazy, so I guess it will be good. I do wanna get a job though.

Oh well, now you know I'm alive.

Tuesday 25 September 2012

the day before

Today went by fast.

I woke up tired. But I had a date with my dad in town, so I had to force myself up. Now I'm a proud and happy owner of an iPad. It's so beautiful.

We met up with my gran for lunch in a restaurant that hasn't changed much since it opened 54 years ago. Pretty cool, pretty nice food!!

Eh, I came home and continued my packing, and of course trying to learn how to steer the new toy of mine. I'm getting there.

Them my other gran joined me and my mum for a delicious dinner. Then we were sorting out a closet that had a lot of hidden and forgotten items. Fun.

My friend Linnea came over after work, and we were figuring out a few more things about the iPad, and just hanging out in general.

Now it's really about time for me to finish my packing, since I have to leave the house just before 9 am tomorrow. And I want to finish the book I'm reading at the moment, so yes. Off I go!

Monday 24 September 2012

grease

I quite like the oily-hair look.

multitasking

Time to wash out the oil from my hair and tackle the day. I'm thinking gym and friends. And some more packing of course. Oooh, just got the urge for vocal excersise too. So I'll do that after shower, whilst packing. Yeei!

Sunday 23 September 2012

trippin'

I'm coming down from my trip on my vitamin B3. The reaction today was super duper strong and my body got so warm and red and my heart beat was raising. It felt like I was burning and then I felt super cold. Well. B3, that's the shit!

back to reality

Finally, work is over for this time. And that's that. No going back there. I have two whole days left in Sweden and I can't wait to go back to life!

I met up with my newly wed friend. So nice just to sit in a café, drink tea, eat something naughty and talk about everything and nothing...

Saturday 22 September 2012

butterfly

keep burning

I was so tired earlier today. But I managed to drag myself up from my nap and away to my friend's gig. The gig was at a high school and it was so funny to see all the students jump and dance around. I felt a bit old, and I probably was one of the oldest there. But I had a blast, and my friends are so entertaining. Now I'm so ready to go back to school and do music again!

just let me be

I'm tired after working today. And then I happened to say yes to work tomorrow as well.
God. Help. Me.

But tomorrow is the last day for sure. And then I have shit loads to get done before leaving on Wednesday. I would start pack my bag now, but I'm too tired, so I'm just gonna sit here.

My friends are having a gig tonight that I said I would go to. I don't really have any money to spend, so back to the previous topic. Good thing I have a job.

crazy thing called work

For once this summer, work was crazy last night. Hardly got a break at all with people vomiting. And we we're a litle loose headed and didn't get all keys, so I had to go back to the office and get those. One key was dropped between the elevator doors... Well, yeah... yesterday gave some action.

So I'm actually glad that today is officially the last day at work. Waking up at 6 am when it's still dark outside doesn't do it for me anymore. I'm ready go to back to London now!

Friday 21 September 2012

WORKOHOLIC

So I just book to work this evening, and Saturday and Sunday day shift. Not what I had in mind at first, but after calculating my hours and all last night, I figure I might as well suck this up and work. A few extra coins in London is precious money.

So yeah. Time to head to the Practice Palace and get some shit done. I'll just do some training later tonight instead.

Thursday 20 September 2012

fighter

My BF Steve had a fight tonight back in London. Not like a bar fight, but like a boxing fight. He won and I'm so glad for him, and I so wish I could have been there to support! He has trained so hard these past couple of months. I'm so proud.

laying low...

I had such a nice training session at the gym. Some heavy stuff went down.
Then I went to the bank and tried to figure shit out, which I kind of did and now eveything is sorted. Grown-up points for me. That was hard work.

I went to the blood donate centre, where they took about 400 cl from me, plus almost pucturing my vein, not too pleasant if I have to say it myself. But I live.

Had a few nice hours along with my friend Emilie. Not much more to say.

Came home and been watching some series and putting oil in my hair. Plus calculating what I think I'll get payed these next two months. Well, I think I'll call up work and ask for another shift or two before I leave on Wednesday. God. I don't wanna work anymore this "summer".

Well, tomorrow I'm off training, if I can manage to straighten my arm out, and then practice some. And at least plan my packing for my return to London. Can't wait!

being home

One of the nice things about being back home in Stockholm is the gym. Almost two weeks, and I've missed it so much.

So today I'm gonna go there now and get some sweat flowing. Then I'm gonna go and be a good human and donate some blood. I'm planning on seeing my friend Emilie today too. I was also planning on going to visit my dad, but no one pickes up the phone.

So dad, or Marina, if you see this. Call me!

Wednesday 19 September 2012

so long, you fool, I love you

Yesterday I was escorted around by my god mother. I had such a nice time hanging out with her.

It is time for me to go back home again. I've had quality time with everyone and even though they live in a village, I've had a blast. But it's time for the big city life, before the BIG city life starts. Time is flying and there's no way to stop it, not that I would. But school start is intimidating.

Tuesday 18 September 2012

Day trip to Copenhagen

Copenhagen was awesome. Awesome weather and a nice vibe. I strolled around like nothing was bothering me, which was  the truth. I sat in a park reading my  book, took a nap and walked around more.

I managed to find my way to my friends Lasse's porridge cafĂ©. It was such a nice little cafĂ© and the porridge was really tasty. My stomache thanked me for something solid after a whole day of chocolate.

I met up with Yannick. It's his room I'm moving in to when I get back to England. We had a nice time and he showed me another side of the city. Then I was invited to have dinner with his family. Really cool.

I founf my way back after about 8.5 hours of globetrotting. So nice for my travel eager so leave the country (meaning both Sweden and England).

Today is my last whole day here with my cousins. I've spent over one trying to tranfser money to an english account, with no luck. So I hope to get the details I need to do it.

And for now... I might go to Lund, but then I risk doing some shopping, which I first of all don't need, and second I can't afford.

Monday 17 September 2012

Went to the summer house with my aunt today. Just to cut the grass, but it was very nice.

I woke up at 12.30 pm, but after going to bed at 5 am, it wasn't too my suprise. I was gonna have an "early night" last night, I guess I failed big time, as I stayed up talking to my cousin.

Tonight was the board game night. It was fun, I won one game, out of five.

Tomorrow I'm going over to Denmark, see how they're doing over there. I'm doing good over here.

Friday 14 September 2012

good times

Family dinner
a glass of red wine,
a stroll down memory lane,
sauna with a bunch of 17 year olds.

Vacation is good.

friday all week

The weather is shit, but I'm having a nice time here with my cousins. Today has been all about chilling. Probabaly gonna stay this way, but you'll never know. It's Friday.

Thursday 13 September 2012

boring ride

Three hours done, two more to go. I'm dying from being too restless. I can't believe I managed 27 hours on my first bus ride in South America. But in Sweden we say, "If you wait for something good, you never wait for too long", fuck that shit..

joy-rider

I'm on the train that will take me down to my cousins. I've had such a nice day at work, and only after 4,5 hours of sleep. I think just the knowledge that I don't have to go back ther ein a while was the greatest energy source I could get today.

I'm excited for my week at my cousins. I'll keep you updated.

Now I'm gonna do the first test of a few to see if I'm suitable to join the air force or not. Exciting things..

Wednesday 12 September 2012

just one more day

I survived my double shift. I had a steamy conversation with my mum that picked me up after work, but we came to some realizations, and good ones.

Eh, I've packed everything I need for my trip down to my cousins tomorrow, I think. Otherwise I'll survive a week.

Oh, I'm going up in five hours to do my last shift at my job for this summer. I'll be back in two months, but I'll take that when it comes. I'm done here for now!

Good night!

I can't deny the way I feel when you're around

Poeple in Sweden has been complaining about the non-excisting summer we've had. I thought it was okay, not the best, but okay. But MAN do we have a beautiful autum!

So nice to eat breakfast when the sun is still going up and you know that today will be one of those nice days. So 16 hours shift ahead. Do I want to go? Hells no! But I do it anyways, especially when I know tomorrow is my last day for a while.

Tuesday 11 September 2012

furhter more

The rest of the story about today is following.
I got a spams and could not bare staying in bed another second. I felt trapped and had to clean the flat and open the windows.

My mum made dinner. The taste was not quite there yet, but tomorrow it will be fine.

I got my armpits waxed and I waxed myself, yes, down there. Oh the small things you can do to save some money.

Eh, I had a skype session and I got some news that my old friend and co-worker is going to London next month. We had such an amazing time working together at a Taco Bar and I haven't seen him in about three years.

I have that oil in my head that I'm about to wash out and I need to pack my bags for my trip down to my cousins on Thursday, since I'm working 16 hours tomorrow.

So at the end of the day I'm feeling rather good about today.
Just need to sort out my throat and my runny nose, then I'm all sorted.

bed all day sucks

So to give you the plot of today in short..

I slept until 7.30

Ate breakfast in bed.
Called in sick to work.
Stayed in bed.
Watched a film I fell asleep to last night.
Ate some more breakfast food, in bed.
Had a nice conversation with my old choir teacher.
Stayed in bed, with my new expensive shoes that I decided to keep.
Called to work again saying I'm coming in tomorrow.
So far watched five episodes of Shameless.

And for the rest of the day...
Probabaly stay in bed.

I feel aweful. And not in the sense that I'm sick. I'm so restless I have no words.

 Interesting stuff I must say.

sick people

Yesterday I spent most of my time in bed once I got home from work. Except from when my mum made me some soup I couldn't feel the taste of. Except salt, and I don't like salt.

I had to call in sick for my evening shift today. Just to be sure. And I don't wanna kill my old people in vain.

I hope I don't have to cancel my shifts for tomorrow. I really need the money. And yesterday I bought a pair of shoes for 800 SEK. I might have to go and return them, even though it feels like we were made for eachother.

I'm restless btw. I don't like being sick, because I can't stand staying at home because I have to, and not because I don't want to.

I guess I'll have to watch another movie of something. I'd rather work to be honest. I hate being sick so much.

Monday 10 September 2012

tuut tuut

I feel like I've been runned over by a train. And I can't believe I'm actually gonna go to work when I feel like this. I had fever last night and today it feels like my throat is as thin as a straw. Oh well, I'll go to work, work half the day and then I'll go home and die for a bit. I was gonna celebrate my friend's brirthday today, but I don't know what will happen. Even my fingers feel weak now when I'm typing. Good God.

Sunday 9 September 2012

just my luck

Time to go to bed with some oil on my scalp. I hope I feel better tomorrow than what I do right now, but we will have to see about that. I'm a really lucky girl, so maybe my luck for this wish still needs to be charged up.

Good night world!

war zone

It's 10 pm and I just had my first proper meal for today. My stomache is both happy and angry at the same time...

But today I went to the practice palace. I did some practice but I got stuck when I wanted to write something. So I took a nap, then I went for a quick cup of tea at a friends house before meeting up with Emilie to help her to buy a sofa.

I love driving, that's that. And the sofa looks really nice in her flat. Can't wait to spend an evening in fron of the TV, with some wine and my best friend here in Sweden.

inspiration, grab is while it lasts

I feel inspired to arrange a song, so I'm gonna go to the practice palace and enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.
Woke up at 9.30 am. Five hours of sleep, but I feel rather good.

My plans for today was to hang out with my high school friend, but time is flying and I have no idea what's gonna happen. Tonight I'm helping my friend Emilie pick up a sofa for her flat. The two girls are gonna do it themselves, but I'm sure we will manage.

a new day tomorrow

This girl is tired. It's almost 4 am and I haven't felt tired, but I bet if I shut down the lights and turn off this computer I will fall right where I belong... in a deep sleep where there will be no negative shit around me. So, good night. See you on the other side.

love me til my heart stops, love me til I'm dead

The crayfish-party was nice, but weird. It was so nice to see everyone and everyone but me and my brothers girlfriend got super duper nasty drunk. I couldn't handle more than half a beer since how it went down last week.

When I got to hear that, once again, a family member talks about me behind my back I didn't get supriced. And I don't really care to be honest, but I'm tired of being seen as "the bad one" in this family.

So this time I heard following:

My cousin sings better than me, and that you have to be borned with a natural talent, which she by that indicated that I don't. And the same person thinks I'm throwing away my money on this education in London. And this is after hearing me sing and telling me how good I am and that I have to sing on her party coming up in December.

So I can only say... keep on talking, at least I for one will have a degree AND I dare to follow a dream. So cut me some slack and actually... just be quiet.

Saturday 8 September 2012

finally my sleep comes first

I slept like a baby last night. I haven't slept this deep in a long long time. At 10.15 am I forced myself waking up to the living day.

Later today I'm heading to my dad's for some crayfish-party. It's gonan be super nice and most of the people I love is gonna be there. Don't know about drinking, I'm not quite feeling it today. And I'm still recovering from last weekend, mentally that is.

Eh, in lack of things to do and people to hang out with I'm just gonna go to the practice palace. It has been a while and I feel terrible for that. But I've been busy, away and not feeling it... but here we go!

Friday 7 September 2012

midnight snack

So I've had some blueberry pie now, well.. quite a lot of it. But I think since, as said before, I worked 16 hours today, plus I did a hard core crossfit workout at the gym, I just deserve whatever I want.

full of energy

16 hours of work and I'm feeling good! I was actually thinking about going out with some friends, but I had 1,5 kilos of pasta in my bag, plus my gym clothes and other various things. And now when I'm home, all I want to do is go to bed dreaming away once again about Mr. Grey.

Btw, the pasta was so cheap that I had to buy three packs of it, I'm not crazy. Or am I?

Oh, and how glad am I to not have any work this weekend. AND next week is my last, for this time... Hollaa!

understated

I forgot how nice it is to sleep a full night and not just 4-5 hours. I feel sooooo good right now and I will work these coming 16 hours like they're nothing. Ha!

Thursday 6 September 2012

lonely girl

Desperate times call for desperate actions. I'm going back to Mr. Grey. Oh no, this is not good.

hey

I'm getting so fed up with work. Not that anything has happened. But when it's close to the end, I just don't want any more of it.

But today was a busy but super cozy day.

Got a work out done too..

Now just chilling.

Tuesday 4 September 2012

sleeping, working and some pleasure too

I just had to take a little nap now before dinner. So nice with naps during the day. Used to have a nap after school all the time.

Anyways, I'm tired of working. Or I'm just so ready to go back to London to continue school. I'll keep on working for another week, then no more. I want and need some holiday!

Oh but tonight I'm going to the movies with my dear friend Emilie. Her, myself and some Magic Mike. Can't wait.

my bed is refusing me

I woke up 4.30 am and just layed in my bed for over one hour not being able to get back to sleep. It was like my bed was rejecting me, big time, and I felt really unwanted to stay there until my alarm went off. So with that I guess I can only say good morning.

Monday 3 September 2012

reunited

I met up with my friend Emilie today. On my way to see her I ran into another good friend of mine I haven't seen in a year or so. Apparently she's moving to London on Monday. How happy am I for that? So very very happy!

open minded

Today I bought a special oil that I am suppose to use three days a week to make my hair grow faster. They say it's suppose to grow almost 5 times faster than usual. Which means, five cm a month instead of one. So, we'll see how this goes. I'm excited about it though!

The best part is that the oil is really for people that are constipated. It's not a joke.

my day off

It's such a beautiful day! Time to go to the gym and then get involved.

drunken sunday sailor

Today was hard, but I got through it. I'm so proud of myself for managing working in the state I was in this morning. There was a few times I thought I had to vomit or just pass out. But I didn't, dispite all the different smells I went through.

Thanks to my brothers girlfriend, the reason I got so fucking drunk last night, I now have a new charger to my laptop. I think I finally killed it during my most drunken hours last night. I just can't remember anything, so I'm just guessing.

My cooking failed big time, and I had to eat burned meatballs with very much al dente macaronies. Not as exciting as what I imagined it to be.

Then I have just been sitting on my ass for hours and hours, doing nothing what so ever worth mentioning. Until just a while ago when I stated to hoover and mop the whole flat, and change my bed sheets and just sorting shit out.

So that's my Sunday.

did it

Work was not the easiest today. I'm actually proud of myself for getting through the day. I'm alright now, but there will be no sudden movements until tomorrow.

what happenned last night?

6 am. I woke up 20 min ago to clean up the mess from last night, in a still very drunk state of mind. No. I didn't have a party, the party came from inside me. Yuck! Time to go to work soon. I feel like 19 again, shiet! God, help me through this day, please?!

Just realized my carger has finailly died on me, probably for the best. See when I get the time to buy a new one. Awesome...
